Movember travel

Dear men,

We know that International Women’s Day is celebrated on a large scale with everyone throwing in their wishes, gift hampers and special discounts exclusively for women. But there is also an International Men’s Day, and hardly anyone knows when that is. But dear men, please don’t sulk. The month of November or ‘No shave November’ is dedicated to you, your health and happiness. Join the bandwagon and go on a holiday to celebrate yourself.

We have picked some holiday destinations for each phase of your life :

In your 20's

beach party

Your twenties are for adventure. Period. This is the phase to leave your cocoons of comfort and venture into the unknown. You are blessed with ample time, oodles of energy and a care-free life. We understand that you must have just begun your career or are still a student. But this is no excuse to not pack a backpack and find comfort in a dormitory. Ibiza and Amsterdam are great places to party in your 20s, but it won’t be light on your budget. If you want to opt for cheap holidays from Dubai, Southeast Asia is your best bet. Drag your gang of friends along, and you will never be short of adventure.

In your 30's

water villas

Most men experience their first brush with luxury in their 30s. Well into their careers, men in this phase are eager to enjoy the best of what life has to offer. And why not? You should consider an extravagant holiday in London, stay in an uber-luxurious water-villa in Bora Bora, embark on a wild life safari in South Africa or go on an opulent cruise to Barcelona. But you can still have a dose of adventure by snorkelling in Maldives, bungee jumping in New Zealand or skiing in Switzerland.

In your 40's

Jordan

Most travel lovers in their 40s would have visited the ‘must-see’ places. So this phase is less about exploring a place, and more about discovering yourself. This is a great phase for speculation and reflection, and hence we suggest a solo travel for you. Head to the Himalayas to be one with nature, embrace spirituality in Bali, explore the magnificent deserts of Jordan, enjoy some warm hospitality in Thailand or unravel the intriguing culture of Japan.

In your 50's and 60's

luxurious villa

Fifties and sixties are those beautiful phases when you are enjoying a retired life. You would have probably saved enough, but wouldn’t want an extravagant holiday due to the lack of a steady income. And surely, you would prefer to take things at an unhurried pace. We think Mauritius and Cape Town are great places to holiday in your 50s and 60s. They are synonymous to relaxed vacations and also wouldn’t cost you a fortune. For more such holiday ideas, read our blog on destinations where dirham is stronger than the local currency. You can also take a look at places that are less than 5 hours from Dubai.
