Before you return to the hotel, visit the Te Puia’s woodcarving and weaving school.

After a scrumptious breakfast, take an optional city tour of Auckland that covers the highlights of the city. Begin your trip at the Harbour Bridge before heading to the central city to visit Queen St and the Auckland Viaduct. Continue to the Auckland Domain, situated on a 62,000 year old volcano to Parnell Village. The historic buildings of Parnell have been transformed to a trendy shopping area featuring many boutiques, antique, craft and specialty shops. Continue your journey along the scenic waterfront route of Tamaki Drive to the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park, in Mission Bay. Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park has panoramic views over Whenua Rangatira, Auckland city and Waitemata Harbour. The tour then returns to downtown. Go for a quick shopping before you return to your hotel.

After breakfast, check out and head to your flight to Christchurch. Arrive at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Christchurch. Check in and spend your day relaxing.

After breakfast check out and head to Queenstown via Mount Cook. Travel through the lush farmland of the Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo, where you can see the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd as it stands in solitude next to the vibrant blue waters. Leaving Tekapo, continue to the Southern Alps towards Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, home to New Zealand's tallest mountain. Travel across the tawny tussock of the Mackenzie Country and the Lake Pukaki to reach Queenstown by evening.

Relish a delicious breakfast take an optional full day Milford Sound Day excursion. Begin your tour at the Lake Te Anau, the largest lake in the South Island, continue to the Southern Alps along the Eglington Valley and travel through Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sounds. Then board your scenic cruise and set off to explore the region. Sail across the Tasman Sea, gliding past glacier-scarred rock walls and waterfalls. At the pinnacle of the sound, Mitre Peak rises dramatically from the depths to a height of over 1600 meters above sea levels. Retrace the journey back to Queenstown, before you return to your hotel.
