Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and check-out of the hotel. Embark on 140 km journey from Bengaluru to Mysore. En-route Mysore, we stop by to visit Srirangapatna, a site of cultural and historical importance; this town was the capital of King Hyder Ali and his son, Tipu Sultan, and the magnificent Sri Ranganathaswamy is located here. Arrive in Mysore by afternoon and check-in the hotel. Loads to explore in Mysore, starting with the iconic Mysore Palace. After the palace, head to the Mysore Zoo, a 157 acre wide zoological garden, for spotting a few rare species and a total of approximately 168 different species of wildlife. In the evening, proceed to the world-famous Brindhavan Gardens which spans over an area of 150 acres and located adjacent to the Krishnarajasagara dam, built across the River Kaveri. The musical fountain and light show are added attractions to the garden. Return to hotel.

    More about Karnataka

Erstwhile State of Mysore, Karnataka is home to spice and coffee plantations and the biggest herd of elephants in Asia. Though Kannada is the local language of the state, English is widely spoken along with Tulu and Konkani.

Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka, is the Silicon Valley of India and a global city in every sense- happening nightlife, amazing food, and rich in wildlife. It is also among the few cities in India where the weather is pleasant year round, hence it's always a good time to explore Bengaluru!

Mysore, officially Mysuru, is located at the bottom of Chamundi Hills and is popularly called the cultural capital of Karnataka. Mysore Palace is one of the most majestic monuments here; it was the official residence of the Wodeyars- the royal family ruling Mysore from 1339 to 1950.

Ooty, abbreviated from Udhagamandalam, lies approximately 80 km north of Coimbatore and is the capital of Nilgiris district. This place is not only a favoured holiday destination with tourists from abroad, but also extremely popular with Indians alike.
