Day 2
Hegra UNESCO world heritage site & Elephant rock tour After an early Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Winter Park meeting point for Hegra tour Hegra to experience Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you’ll explore over 110 remarkably well-preserved tombs set in a desert landscape, while learning about the ancient people and culture of AlUla. Evidence for human presence and use of the site dates back beyond the 1st millennium BCE, but it was the location of the Nabataean city from the end of the 1st millennium BCE into the 1st millennium CE. The city was at its peak from the late 2nd century BCE to the 2nd century CE. Later you will be transferred to the hotel. Lunch own arrangement. In the evening proceed to see Elephant rock. Unlike the ornate, hand-carved facades of nearby Hegra’s Nabatean tombs, the "trunk" and "body" of this monolithic red sandstone beast were shaped by natural forces — millions of years of wind and water erosion. This iconic geological marvel is a wonder to see in the daylight or at nighttime. As the sun sets, colours dance in the sky and this epic elephant turns a magnificent shade of red. Capture the perfect picture or stay for late-night stargazing. Later Return to the Resort. Overnight at Hotel in AlUla.
Day 4
Full day Khaybar Tour Today after your hearty breakfast we proceed to Khaybar city. Khaybar is an oasis situated some 217 kilometers from Alula, the area had been inhabited by Arabian Jewish tribes until it fell to Muslim armies under Muhammad during the Battle of Khaybar in 628 CE. Start our tour from Al Rawan Viewpoint. discover the interactive displays and grab an audio guide. Walk to key spots around the viewpoint, learning about the history of Khaybar along the way. Later Self explores around the oasis, on foot or by bicycle. Stop for lunch at Tayka, an elegant heritage restaurant serving traditional Saudi dishes with a contemporary twist. post lunch, you can opt to discover Khaybar from above on a helicopter or hot air balloon ride. Later you will be transferred back to alula, overnight in AlUla. Optional Activities: Helicopter Tours (excluding Tuesdays): Hourly flights between 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Hot Air Balloons: Flights every 15 minutes between 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm.
Day 6
Departure After your delicious Breakfast at the Hotel, get transferred to AlUla international Airport for your flight back home. Special Notes: The above itinerary is Tentative and subject to change and the Final Itinerary will be shared at the time of Handovers.
