Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and check-out of the hotel. Embark on the sightseeing tour of Kochi which includes a visit to the historical Dutch Palace or the Mattancherry Palace, a Portuguese palace which was gifted to the king of Cochin in 1555 featuring Kerala murals. After that, drive past the famous Chinese Fishing Nets, fixed land installations for fishing, of Kochi. Later, drive to the breathtaking hill station, Munnar- erstwhile South Indian summer resort of the British Government. Munnar is bestowed with sprawling tea plantations and ample scenic beauty, making it still a popular destination in Kerala. On arrival to Munnar, check-in at your hotel and spend the evening at your own leisure, sipping some rich and aromatic cardamom tea.
After a delicious breakfast, be off to a half day city tour of Munnar. The trip includes a stop at the popular Kanan Devan Tea Museum in the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea; get a glimpse into the genesis and all the growth phases of tea plantation and culture. Next, we take you to Mattupetty where you can opt for a boat ride in one of its many beautiful lakes. Later on, you get to visit Kundala tea plantations and the Kundala Lake; the mesmerising blue lake is one of the most photographed areas of Kundala. At the tea plantation, take a stroll through the gardens to imbibe in the fresh mountain breeze and attend sessions of the tea making process, right from tea leaf plucking to the processing. Return to hotel.
Have a delectable breakfast and check-out from your hotel. The next stop is at a tourist's dream destination, Thekkady; sublime hills, rich biodiversity and spice plantations are just a few of the entities which describe Thekkady. It is also famous for its Periyar wildlife sanctuary- the largest in India. On arrival to Thekkady, check-in to the hotel and freshen up before your trip to the spice plantation. At the spice plantation, apart from exploring the richness of the park, you can opt for an elephant ride. Return to hotel.
After a scrumptious breakfast, check-out from your hotel and gear up for your journey to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is an enchanting peninsula set in the backdrop of the picturesque Vembanad Lake, the longest lake in India. This is also considered as the largest lake in India and is dotted with innumerable house boats. The fresh water of the lake flows into the mainland, making a labyrinth of lagoons, canals, and waterways; the prestigious Nehru Trophy Boat Race is conducted in a portion of this lake. On arrival, check-in to the hotel and spend some time on your own around the area before retiring for the night.
Savour a lip smacking breakfast and spend the day recuperating. We recommend you to opt for traditional Ayurvedic therapy and spa treatments to revitalize. Alternatively, you could explore the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is home to many different species of birds, including cuckoos and Siberian storks.
After a hearty breakfast, check-out of the hotel and continue your journey to Kovalam, a coastal town famed for its palm-fringed beaches and rejuvenating centres. Kovalam is popular for its long coastline, formed by three beautiful beaches of Lighthouse, Hawah, and Samudra. Arrive and check in to your hotel.
