Your holiday itinerary
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and reach Colombo by road. Check-in to your hotel and freshen up for a city tour. We take you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative centre and military garrison, Sea Street- the Goldsmiths' quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal which dates back to 1749. Later, visit the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Replica of Aukana Buddha Statue, and the Independence Square. Return to hotel.
After a scrumptious breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed towards Kandy. Lying amid hills, Kandy is blessed with immense beauty and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. First off, we visit the Spice Garden in Mawanella to take a stroll in the garden with various trees, roots, and spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. You can also witness the processing of these spices right from its root stage. Next, we drive past the Kandy Lake, Market Square, Arts and Craft Centre, and visit the Gem Museum which has a beautiful collection of precious stones and the popular Bathik factory. You can also opt for an optional tour of the Temple of Tooth which is home to the relic of the tooth of Buddha. In the evening, enjoy a traditional cultural dance show. Return to hotel.
Begin your day with a sumptuous breakfast and check-out from your hotel. En-route Colombo, you can opt to visit the popular Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Watch the caretakers feed, bathe and play with the elephants at the orphanage.This breeding ground for wild Asian elephants started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants and today, has the world's largest herd of captive elephants. On reaching Colombo, indulge in some shopping at Odel, House of Fashion, Arcade independence, Beverly Street, and Bargain Market at Colombo Pettah. We also visit the race course before you return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
Check-out from your hotel early in the morning and transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport from Colombo. Return home with sweet memories of your holiday.

Cancellation policy
*In the event of a cancellation, 10% of the holiday amount is non-refundable. Refunds will be based on how many days prior to your booked departure we receive your cancellation notice, with the charges increasing closer to your departure date. If the cancellation is received prior to 45 days or more of departure, full price of the non-refundable tickets will be deducted; 44 - 31 days prior to departure, 25% of the total amount will be deducted; if the holiday is cancelled 30 - 15 days prior to departure 50% of the total amount will be deducted; if the trip is cancelled 14 - 10 days prior to departure, 75% of the total amount will be deducted; and if the trip is cancelled 10 days prior to departure, 100% of the total amount will be deducted. In case of any non-refundable tickets, the entire amount of the ticket will be deducted.
