Safety Guidelines for Tourists Visiting Salalah during Khareef

• Heed Warnings from Authorities Always listen to and follow any alerts or advisories issued by local officials-These are to protect you from hazards such as accidents, waterlogging, landslides, or unsafe areas.
• Avoid Swimming in Springs -Springs may look inviting but can be dangerous due to strong currents, varying depths, and hidden rocks. Swimming in these waters is strongly discouraged.
• Beware of Slippery Roads- Monsoon rains make roads in Salalah slippery and hazardous. Drive cautiously, especially on curves and steep slopes. Ensure your vehicle’s tyres and brakes are in excellent condition to handle wet roads.
• Protect Against Mosquito Bites- The monsoon season brings more mosquitoes. Use insect repellent and wear long sleeves and pants when visiting outdoor spots.
• Avoid Rough Sea Conditions-The monsoon often makes the sea rough and unsafe for swimming or boating. Stay away from the water during Khareef to avoid accidents.
• Prepare for Rain and Mist - Khareef weather includes intermittent rain and mist.Wear waterproof clothing, including a sturdy rain jacket, umbrella, and waterproof shoes to stay dry and comfortable while exploring slippery areas.

Visa charges - AED 100 per person. Processing time- 2-3 working days. (Visa validity : 28 days stay) Note: Passengers must travel from GCC to Oman.

• Once confirmed, booking fees of AED 1500 will be Non-refundable.
• Prior to 60 days to 45 days: 50% of the holiday amount is nonrefundable
• 44 and 30 days of departure: 75% of the holiday cost
• Less than 29 days prior to departure 100% of the total amount will be deducted.

Prior to 45 days or more: 30% of the holiday amount is non refundable + Full cancellation for non refundable tickets. 44 and 31 days of departure: 45% of the holiday cost. 30 and 15 days of departure: 60% of the holiday cost .14 and 10 days of departure: 75% of the holiday cost. 10 days prior to departure 100% of the total amount will be deducted.
