More about Trivandrum
From the tranquil backwaters and exotic wildlife reserves to the lush green forests and pristine lakes, Kerala promises a serene holiday experience.
Trivandrum, or Thiruvananthapuram is the capital city of God's own country, Kerala. Built on the seven hills, this beautiful seaside city is ostentatiously rich in beautiful hill stations, backwaters, beaches, lagoons, and wildlife sanctuaries. Known for effective Ayurvedic medical centres, many foreigners view this plas as a destination for Medical tourism. Well known as Trivandrum, this place has many aromatic & rich tea and coffee plantations. Mahatma Gandhi referred to this place as the “Evergreen city of India”.
Kerala's rich culture is reflected in its famous Kathakali dance, exquisite temples and churches, colorful festivals such as Onam and authentic cuisine which is traditionally served on a banana leaf. Rejuvenate with optional ayurvedic spa treatments. From elephant rides in the jungles to shopping at local markets for spices and antiques, Kerala has something for everyone. Learn more.
