There is some great news for travel lovers! The UAE and Switzerland have signed an MOU on entry-visa exemption. According to the pact, citizens of the two countries won't have to apply for visas for short-term visits. So, if you have been toying with the idea of visiting this breathtaking country, book a flight with us soon.

We have created an itinerary for you if you are planning to spend a long weekend in Switzerland.

Day 1 – Arrive at the Zurich Airport

Head to your hotel and refresh. Spend the rest of the day exploring this wonderful city. While you are spending time in Zurich, visit the Old Town, where the Romans built their fortified settlement, which is now the tree-shaded Lindenhof. Watch the breathtaking view of the old town from the Terrace. If you move over to the eastern part of the old town, you will be welcomed by the sight of charming streets.

One of the main attractions in Zurich is the crystal clear Zurich Lake. You must definitely go for a cruise on the Zurich Lake and marvel at the picturesque Glarus Alps. Dotted with promenades and parks, you can catch both the tourists and the locals having a good time there.

Day 2 - Take a train to Interlaken

The best way to enjoy your time in Interlaken is by taking boat tours on Lakes Thun and Brienz. Day 3 – Excursion to Jungfraujoch

The best way to travel to Jungfraujoch is by train. Rightly called as the ‘Top of Europe’, Jungfraujoch is blessed with majestic mountains, an array of leisure activities and hotels. Enjoy the picturesque scenary while commuting to the highest rail station in Europe, the Jungfrau railway, which is situated at an astounding height of 11,333 feet. Once you reach the top of the mountain, take in the beauty of the snow-capped peaks of Jungfraujoch- a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can also walk upto the Ice Cave carved from Europe’s longest glacier, and enjoy the gorgeous view of the Aletsch Glacier.
