We believe that any holiday is incomplete without sampling the authentic regional cuisines. A holiday to Baku is no different. And why not, Baku offers an array of lipsmacking delicacies that add an element of surprise and awe to your vacation.

Start your meal with some soup that sees dumplings floating in broth. Called Dushbara, this delicious soup is a popular part of the Azerbaijani cuisine. But if you are a meat lover, then look no further than Kufta Bozbash, their meatball soup. Slurp!

Are you in the mood for pancakes? If yes, then feast on these stuffed pancakes called Qutab. We will let you into a little secret. You may just end up biting into some pomegranate seeds. But if you are a walnut-lover, then Lavangi -a chicken casserole with walnuts - will add the right crunch to your main course. Bite into Shekerbura, a pastry stuffed with oodles of nuts, for a treat and finish your meal on a sweet note.
