Established in 1923 Aeroflot can be called the largest and the oldest airline in Russia. The airlines operate both in domestic and international services from Sheremetyevo International Airport, Moscow. Aeroflot includes 96 destinations in 49 countries using 302 flights on a daily basis.

    The airline operates the flights in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, North America and the Caribbean. Aeroflot's fleet of 161 planes includes a variety of one cabin (Economy Class), two cabins (Business Class and Economy Class, or Premium Economy Class and Economy Class) and three cabins (Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class) configurations.

    The fleet

    Aeroflot fleet contains one of the youngest aircraft carriers in the world with Airbus A330, Airbus A320, and Sukhoi SuperJets-100 aircraft. In January 2015 Aeroflot and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft agreed to receive 20 SSJ-100s more with an addition of 30 new aircraft. Since September 2013, the airlines operate 20 new medium-range Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

    Destinations

    In 2006, Aeroflot registered the trademark and announced to increase its cargo operations. During the same year, the airline carried 7,290,000 passengers and 145,300 tons of mail and cargo in 47 different countries and 89 destinations. In June 2013, World Airline Awards gave the airline the honour of being the best passenger carrier in Eastern Europe. Since 2013 December, the flights operate to 129 different destinations.
