    Founded in 1930, American Airlines commenced operations in 1934. This United States-based airline is headquartered at Fort Worth, Texas and lives by its dictum, “The new American is arriving.”

    American Airlines serves four continents, trailing Delta Air Lines and United, which both serve six each.     Before You Leave Home

    Make sure you check the baggage limits and pack accordingly like for economy class. You are allowed one checked bag with maximum weight of 23kgs/50lbs. The first class and business class can check three bags at no charge when traveling on American Airlines or connecting with British Airways or Iberia. However, the total dimensions of each checked bag may not exceed 62in/157cm (length + width + height) for all customers and finally check your flight-status to adjust your schedule before you bid adieu to your home.
