    The national airline of Oman, Oman Air is headquartered at Muscat International
    Airport in Seeb, Muscat. The airline is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization and the official designated carrier of the Sultanate of Oman.     The Fleet

    As of 2014, the Oman Air fleet consists of aircraft with an average of 6.5 years of use and plans to commence travel via a 50-strong fleet by 2017. Its luxury airbuses include the Airbus 330-300 and 330-200 series aircraft, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines. It also includes 13 state of the art Boeing 737 NG aircraft and two Boeing 737-700 series, powered by CFM engines. Top of the line aircraft include 3 brand new Embraer E-175 crafts launched in 2011 and two ATR42-500 turbo propelled airplanes.

    With its primary headquarters in Muscat, this airline has a network of 42 destinations across 23 countries. Popular destinations include the UAE, United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Switzerland, Maldives, Italy, Egypt, France, Germany and several other important countries across the world. In India, it stops at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, making it the country where Oman Air travels very frequently. Within Oman, it travels only to Salalah and Khasab.
