Azerbaijan Airlines is the largest airline carrier of Azerbaijan. The flag carrier operates in Asia, CIS, Europe and the USA. It is also a member of International Air Transport Association. The first flight flew on 20th October 1910 over Baku. Since 2015, the airline was awarded a prestigious 4-star rating by a British company called Skytrax for quality and service. The airline meets all the international standards to make a flight memorable for its passengers.
The fleet
The airlines own two Boeing 767-300ERs which serve the South-East Asia routes. The civil aviation fleet owns aircraft namely the Airbus A320, the Airbus A319, the ATR 42-500, and the ATR 72-500. In 2014, Azerbaijan Airlines took delivery of the 2 Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
It launched a premium economy product with the introduction of 787. The company has three Airbus A319 mid-size airliners and one Airbus Corporate Jetliner for use as an official state aircraft. They are all powered by CFM International engines.
Destinations
As of August 2014, the airlines flies to USA, Europe, Middle East and Asia. The most sought of destinations include Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, China, Germany, Dubai, Russia, and parts of Europe. The airline also has a codeshare agreement with the airlines like Air France, Iran Air, Qatar Airways, Ukraine International Airlines, Alitalia, Lufthansa, SCAT Airlines, Ural Airlines, Czech Airlines, Turkish Airlines and SCAT Airlines.
Business Class
The passengers traveling from business class can enjoy luxuries like priority check-in and boarding. Fast track and personal assistance services. The passengers can enjoy the business lounge airports with more work and a place to relax. The Business class ticket includes 2 pieces of baggage weighting up to 32 kgs and 2 carry-on baggage weighting up to 8 kgs. All the airlines are equipped with passenger entertainment system and full meal facilities. For the passengers of VIP Club, Comfort club, Business and Economy classes, Azerbaijan Airlines as well as for the passengers on route Baku – Tel Aviv – Baku. The airlines provide the menu in 3 cycles.

The sum of three dimensions of baggage (H х W х L) must not exceed 158cm. For children between 2 and 12 years free baggage allowance determined same as for adult passengers.
