Aeromexico

    Established in 1988 Aeromexico is the flag carrier airline of Mexico. The main hub of the airline is Mexico City International Airport and a secondary hub at Monterrey. In 2014 the airline became the largest domestic airline in the group. Aeromexico helped in finding SkyTeam with Delta Air Lines, Air France, and Korean Air. The company group comprises of Aeromexico and Aeromexico Connect.

    The fleet

    The airline has a total fleet of 68 aircrafts all being from the Boeing carrier family. This includes Boeing 737-700, 737-800, 737 MAX 8, 777-200ER, 787-9, 787-8. In 2012, the airline signed a contract with Boeing to get 100 new aircrafts. This became the largest investment in the history of the airline. This includes 90 narrow body Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 19 Dreamliners. The interior of the plane will have Boeing Sky. Aeromexico Group is the first to invest in this aircraft.

    Destinations

    The airline flies to 84 destinations in total. Aeromexico has 44 destinations in Mexico, 37 in Central and South America, Asia and Europe. Since 2006, the airline started operations in Tokyo city via Tijuana. In 2008, the airline started operations in Shanghai as well. The recent destinations include Panama City, Vancouver, Santa Domingo, Boston, Toronto, Amsterdam, Cozumel, and Texas. In 2017, the airline plans to start operations to Beijing as well.

    Business Class

    All the premier class cabins have 180-degree recline chairs with some amazing amenities. The business class passengers can enjoy priority check-in, baggage drop-off, security check, boarding and preference at transfer desks.     Passengers traveling from Aeromexico can avail the service of web check-in to save time. For domestic flights, passengers can check-in 48 before.
